Will I have a sea-view?
Yes! All Lodges look across the Bay of Firth.
Do you accept card payment?
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we are currently only accepting payments by BACS or Cheque.
Arrival & Departure
What time can I check in?
All properties are available from 4pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by no later than 9am on your day of departure. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot offer early arrivals or late departures. Following the latest advice regarding coronavirus, we regret that we will not be there to meet you on arrival. We will however ensure that everything is ready for you, and provide you with any information you may require prior to your arrival. You are advised to check your travel insurance to cover cancellation.
Is there onsite parking?
Yes, plenty of on site parking so no need to worry about carrying your bags too far!
Can I book for less than a week?
Yes, Atlantis Lodges can be booked for a minimum of 5 nights, starting any day of the week. Ideal if you fancy a mid week break in Orkney or are attending an event.
Do you supply a welcome pack?
Yes, all properties will have tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, biscuits and a pint of milk. We also provide basic cleaning products (washing up liquid, kitchen and bathroom cleaner and cloths) and toilet roll to start your stay. Groceries can be pre-ordered for your arrival – please arrange when booking. There is also a grocery store 10 minutes walk from the Lodges.
Electricity and Heating
Is electricity included?
Yes, electricity and heating are included in the rental cost.
Linen and Towels
Do you supply bed linen?
Yes, beds at all properties are made up with bed linen included in the price. (Synthetic fibre bedding provided, however, feather pillows and duvets are available on request.) Additionally, one bath towel and one hand towel per person are provided. Tea towels are provided in all properties. There are full laundry facilities available onsite with washers, dryers and line space outside. Machines are token operated and washing powder is supplied.
Cot / High Chair
Where requested, a cot and/or high chair can be provided in properties, which also includes cot linen.
Do you allow pets?
No, I’m afraid not, we have a strict no pets policy in all our properties.
Is smoking permitted?
Please note that all properties are NON-SMOKING within the building(s).
All properties have a colour TV with freeview, DVD and CD player.
Kitchens have appliances as stated in individual property information, plus ample tableware and cooking utensils. They all have: toaster, electric kettle, iron/ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
Living area/rooms have comfortable seating, dining table and chairs for the stated number as well as a good standard of general furnishing.
WI-FI is available and included in your rental cost.
Bedrooms have standard sized beds, plus ample storage and hanging space, as well as a good standard of general furnishing. A hair dryer is provided at every property.
All of our cottages have electric heating.
Are the lodges serviced?
No, Atlantis Lodges are self-catering accommodation. Bedding/towels are changed at the end of your stay or at the end of the first week if staying for longer. All our cottages are cleaned thoroughly between lets. We would ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy.
Alterations to Bookings
We cannot accept a change of holiday property once we have received your booking form and payment. We may be able to change your holiday week providing you advise us not less than 6 weeks prior to your original holiday start date. This is not always possible, although if we are able to rearrange this for you, a charge of £35 will be made to cover administration costs.
